What is the Shipping Policy?
Every guidebook is shipped within 2 business days maximum. Most guidebooks are actually shipped the same day or the next day. Books are shipped with normal post, first class or expedited delivery depending on the option you select on checkout. If you want us to use a particular shipping service that is not available in the options, you can email us and we will do that for you. Also, if you want recorded delivery with a tracking number, you can email us and we can do that for you.
What is the Return Policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase. In case of a return, email us at admin@themsag.com and we will send you the address to ship the guidebook back to. As long as the guidebook is still in good condition, we will give you a full refund minus the shipping costs.
What are the sources of information and data in the MSAG?
We work in collaboration with the admissions office at each medical school to collect the information presented in school profiles. Medical schools are contacted by phone, email of visit depending on the medical school and its location. For the other sections of the guidebooks, we have received material from many experts including academic advisors, admissions officers, doctors, medical school students and medical school applicants.
How can I purchase the guidebooks?
You can purchase the guidebooks on our website via the page order the guidebooks. You can also purchase the guidebooks from Amazon.co.uk , Amazon.ca or Amazon.com. Alternatively, the guidebooks are available in all major bookstores online and are also in stock in most Blackwell bookstores in the UK and some other independent bookstores. If you are experiencing any difficulty buying a guidebook or if you would like to receive an invoice by email or post, you can email us at admin@themsag.com for assistance.
When are the MSAGs published each year?
The MSAG UK Graduate Entry Medicine and the MSAG UK for undergraduate applicants are published yearly between the last week of May and the first week of June. The MSAG Canada is normally published in June. This guidebook is temporarily stopped as its concept is changing to become the MSAG North America to be first published in June 2012. The MSAG North America will include everything an applicants needs to know to apply to Canada and the US. The MSAG Worldwide is published yearly in July.
I want to purchase the MSAG Canada but cannot find it.
The MSAG Canada was published for the last 2 years. Based on the encouragement and feedback we have received, we have decided to expand this guidebook to a new guidebook called the MSAG North America which will include all the information for medical schools in Canada and information to apply to medical school in the US as well. This new guidebook will be published for the 2013-2014 application cycle. If you would like information on getting into Canadian medical schools next year, the information for each medical program in Canada is available in the MSAG Worldwide 2012-2013 guidebook, which includes the full Canadian section updated for 2012-2013.
When shall I purchase the MSAG?
The MSAGs are a valuable resource at any point in your pre-medical journey. High school/secondary school students can learn about how to obtain healthcare experience and what grades are expected of them to get into medical school. Students completing their secondary school courses and university applicants can use the MSAGs to identify which medical schools to apply to and their application deadlines and requirements as well as to obtain help with writing their personal statement and preparing for interviews. The application deadlines in the 2012-2013 MSAG are intended for students entering medical school in the 2012-2013 academic year.
